Windows 9-Few Information

Although no official announcement from Microsoft about their next version of windows there are plenty of rumors about their release date, price and features.

Windows Blue turned out to be Windows 8.1 rather than a completely new version of the Windows OS – Windows 9 will be that new version. As for interim releases, we'll probably also get Windows 8.2 before we get Windows 9. And we have already seen the initial update to Windows 8.1, called Windows 8.1 Update 1.
The new update features improvements to the Start Screen including the ability to boot straight into the Desktop, the return of shutdown on Start and a more familiar task bar to unify the old and new user interfaces. The update was announced at Build 2014, along with features teased for Windows updates to come.
The next complete version of Windows is being referred to as Windows 9, though this may change. And a new codename has appeared – Threshold, possibly in refrence to moving across from our reliance on the desktop to a new world where the Start screen is at the heart of how we use Windows.

Release Date

Some rumors have suggested late 2014 or early 2015 for a Windows 9 release, it seems like Windows 9 should drop before September 2015 at the latest.

Price

What the collective has heard exactly is that a prototype version is in the works in which a barebones version of Windows 9 will be available for free. For additional functionality, users would have to pay up through a subscription.

Electric Clothes

Scientists at Wake Forest University have developed a fabric that doubles as a spare outlet. When used to line your shirt — or even your pillowcase or office chair — it converts subtle differences in temperature across the span of the clothing (say, from your cuff to your armpit) into electricity. And because the different parts of your shirt can vary by about 10 degrees, you could power up your MP3 player just by sitting still. According to the fabric’s creator, David Carroll, a cellphone case lined with the material could boost the phone’s battery charge by 10 to 15 percent over eight hours, using the heat absorbed from your pants pocket. Doctor Band-Aid

Band-aid!!This is come to use when we need to cover our wounds. But now it is also used for health monitoring purpose.Strange!!!Yes this is the fact.

The researchers from Illinois and Northwestern university have developed an electronic patch looking like band-aid that can stick to a user's skin and can relay health information to a phone or computer. The device includes silicon chips contained in a plastic case and silicon fluid that help it to stay attached to the skin even through continuous movement. The designer designed them in a way so that the patch does not break and fold and unfold according to the skin's motion.
In the near future the developers wants to add bio-mechanical sensors to it so that it can analyze user's sweat and transmit more information about health.
